Energy efficient homes and buildings trap bad air inside. Since the energy crisis of 1974, the American public has made a conscious effort to save energy. The typical U.S. home and/or office is tighter and more energy efficient than ever before. But, these steps to prevent heat loss often have a negative effect. Energy efficiency measures such as adding insulation, weatherstripping, caulking, etc., prevent heat from escaping but they simultaneously trap bad air inside. Our exposure to toxic materials is 5-10 times higher than it is outdoors. While outdoor air has a dilution effect on pollutants, indoor air tends to trap and intensify pollutants. 7. Legionnaires disease
8. Pontiac fever

13. Irritability

Some indoor pollutents include:
1. House dust
2. Loose textile fibers
3. Human and animal hair
4. Human and animal skin particles
5. Decaying organic matter
6. Residue from aerosol cans
7. Pollen
8. Dirt
9. Dust mites
10. Biologicals (bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc.)
Our Process
1. Trained technicians connect a hose from a specially designed vacuum system to your ductwork. Each outlet is sealed off and a vacuum is created within the system.
2. The technician determines if the dirt and mold in the ductwork is caked on. If so, we insert duct brushes inside the ducts which loosens the caked on dirt and mold.
3. High-pressure compressed air is injected into each vent, this air blast pushes the dirt and dust down into the main duct run.
4. After the vents are blown down we take a small tool called the aire sweep and insert it in the main duct runs. The aire sweep moves down the duct run each time air pressure is applied. This action sweeps grime, dirt and dust back to the vacuum hose hookup and out into the truck.
5. We then air wash the fan blower compartment, plenum, air handling side of the furnace and the a/c coils with air pressure and vacuum.
6. Airducts sanitized with Microban Disinfectant Spray Plus, effectively killing mildew, mold, and bacteria. EPA Reg. No. 70263-5.
